The growing local series, which includes tastes, tours and talks in their new Victory Garden, will conclude this Thursday, August 15.
According to their website, the museum has been bringing together local growers, educators, practitioners and researchers to explore where our food comes from and how it grows.
The series kicked off July 18 and the museum has hosted an event every Thursday since then with food, drinks and conversation.
This Thursday, the series will celebrate Julia Child's 101st birthday by showing "Julie & Julia" starting at 6 p.m. Tickets are $20 and include two cocktails (Green Hat Gin and Wildcraft Soda) with locally grown food.
I'm going to try and attend this Thursday's event, especially since I haven't seen "Julie & Julia." If you go as well, let me know what you think of it.
