I saw Barbara's Puffins Peanut Butter cereal on a shelf and immediately threw it in my basket. It's one of my favorite cereals and it's relatively healthy. It was $3.99 for an 11 oz box.
I walked a few steps further down the aisle to discover that a 12.25 oz box of Honey Nut Cheerios was on sale for $2.65.
I had to stop and think about this for a few minutes. So I decided to compare the nutrition facts on both boxes.
On one hand I had a delicious, healthy cereal made with low sugar, low fat, non-GMO ingredients. However, it was $1.34 more expensive.
On the other hand, I had Honey Nut Cheerios, another tasty cereal that is also relatively low fat but filled with sugars and ingredients I can't pronounce. If you look closely at my picture, you can see that the box on the left (Honey Nut Cheerios) has a much longer list of ingredients than the box on the right (Barbara's Peanut Butter Puffins).
