Approximately 15 minutes prep time.
You will need 2 pints of strawberries.
2 cups plain non-fat yogurt (I used non-fat vanilla--just as good if not better)
1/4 cup of frozen orange juice concentrate (I used regular orange juice)
1/2 cup sugar (this amount depends on how sweet you want it)
3/4 cup water
1 dash of ground ginger
1 dash allspice
fresh mint to garnish
In a blender, combine the strawberries, yogurt, orange juice, sugar, water and spices. Puree until well mixed. (Approx 3 minutes)
Garnish with strawberry slices and fresh mint. Serve chilled.
Number of servings: 8
It sounds likes a smoothie but it's a little different and has a th consistency. Definitely give it a try! It goes great as a dessert or starter for brunch.
